The term DevOps has become a popular term dating back to 2009 to describe the intersection and hand-off between development and operations. The term is relatively new, but the concepts that make up DevOps have been around much longer. Over the years Avnet has been engaged with multiple large organizations helping them optimize their software development life-cycle.

Scott Bybee will in his presentation explain DevOps including common conventions, organizational changes, best practices, common pitfalls and various tools available to support achieving more agility in an organization’s release management processes. Scott will also present some real examples from various customers across Europe.
